The Wind Tunnel Laboratory operates a multi-disciplinary subsonic tunnel (max. airspeed 65m/s in atmospheric conditions). The team is active in Research, Teaching and Consulting activities in the field of subsonic aerodynamics and aeroelasticity.
Several high-level sportsmen, both able-bodied and disabled, welcomed at the Wind Tunnel. A collaboration with the Movement Analysis Laboratory within the framework of the “Centre d’Aide à la Performance Sportive”.
Hüseyin Güner and his colleagues have just published a new article in the Journal of Fluids and Structures on "Unsteady aerodynamic modeling methodology based on dynamic mode interpolation for transonic flutter calculations".
New open-source python-based tool for the simulation of Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) problems which allows the coupling of two independent solvers.
Several researches are carried out in the laboratory under the supervision of Dr. T. Andrianne.
